What we collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account (email address), information you enter about your child's IEP or 504 plan, communication logs you create, and contact information for school staff you add. If you use AI Insights, your log entries are processed to generate patterns and suggestions.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the IEP Pocket Binder service to you. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Supabase for storage, Google Gemini for AI features).
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use row-level security to ensure only you can access your data.
Children's privacy
IEP Binder is designed for parents and guardians 18 years of age and older. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The information you enter about your child is stored under your account and is accessible only to you.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile section of the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
